Bev Toews has spent more than 25 years working in schools in and around Olds, showing up every day for students and families in rural Alberta. She chairs the Fair Trade Olds committee, has advocated for farmers and local businesses, and has built a reputation as someone who brings people together rather than driving them apart.
A recipient of the Stars of Alberta Volunteer Award and the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal, Bev is recognized by her community as someone who leads with purpose.
When she ran in the 2025 Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills by-election, she did it because rural Albertans deserved a voice fighting for real solutions on health care, education, and affordability. And she did it because she believes in a strong Alberta in a united Canada.
Bev Toews is ready. Alberta's New Democrats are ready.
